The ATRA European Chapter is in association with FATE (the Federation of Automatic Transmission Engineers).

Founded in 1978, FATE (and now ATRA Europe) hold the same core objectives:

To promote the reputation of the rebuilding industry and help maintain standards of workmanship.

We hope to provide technical and managerial information, geared up to help it’s members.  These members range from small independent garages, to large firms and parts suppliers.  Any company rebuilding, servicing or supplying components for Automatic Transmissions can apply for membership.

ATRA Europe in association with FATE are the only body representing independent Automatic Transmission rebuilders in the UK and Europe. We are supported by a group of dedicated transmission specialists.

By becoming a member of ATRA Europe, you are joining a very experienced group of people, who when grouped together, allows you access to tips, hints and advice on technical issues that you may be having difficulty with.  Your customers will also see that you are part of a group of experts, that not only aim for the highest level of workmanship, but also take a great deal of pride in what they do.  Furthermore, as well as having access to technical information and advice, you will be able to receive discounted tickets to our Technical Seminars, held every other year.
